Kendo, Olasoju, Obe jostle for Ajomale Award

The the three council chairmen in Oshodi-Isolo LGA have been tipped for the prestigious “Chief Henry Oladele Ajomale 100 Days in Office Projects Award”.

The award is organised by The Accolades – the award organiser – to recognize and celebrate ‘community heroes’ at the grassroots during the award ceremony that will be held on Saturday, December 11 at Swiss International Hotel, Ajao Estate. 

According to the organisers, Ajomale, the sponsor of the award, is  the former APC State  chairman in Lagos State  and member of the Governor’s Advisory Council (GAC).

They said the analysis of the projects and programmes carried out by the council chairmen, Otunba Kehinde Oloyede (Oshodi-Isolo LGA), Otunba Adebayo Olasoju (Isolo LCDA), and Hon. Monsuru Bello Obe (Ejigbo LCDA) in their first 100 days in office since they were sworn in on July 27 are being assessed.. 

Awards convener Gbenga Owoyelw told Echonews that the chairman with the highest number of projects will win adding that  the voting process will décide  the winner.

“Through Chief Henry Ajomale 100 Days in office award (Oshodi Isolo), we are evaluating the performances of the three executive chairmen under Oshodi-Isolo constituency. A team of engineers and other professionals are out verifying the quality of the projects and programs done in the first one hundred days they were sworn in. We are celebrating the executive chairman with the highest number of quality projects in their 100 days in office. We are showing the world the power of what can be done in 100 days. The award is endorsed and funded by Chief Barrister Henry Oladele Ajomale, Member Governor’s Advisory Committee (GAC) Lagos State.”
