Kazakhstan Women’s Championship: Blessing Owolabi Inspires Biik Kazygurt To Huge Win

Nigeria forward, Blessing Owolabi (Kenya) played an inspiring role in Biik Kazygurt 9-0 whitewash of Astana.

Despite playing away from home, Kazygurt showed high goal scoring exploit in their second game of the season.

Gabelia and Nurusheva hit the ball rolling by scoring in the 13th and 37th minute of the first half.

On the stroke of halftime, Owolabi dazzled her way in the 18 yard box to score her second goal of the season and third goal of the game.

Owolabi was a threat for Astana defenders and she provided shield, scoring opportunities for her teammates to score.

Gabelia and Mkandawire netted further goals for Biik Kazygurt in the second half in a dominant win.

Kazygurt will face second place on Monday, April 28 at the 10,000 capacity Stadion Namys.
