JOGO FOOTBALL GALA EVENT

Jogo football gala event is a day competition organised in honour of a great philanthropist, Owolabi Oluwasegun popularly known as Jogo who invested massively in sports to take the youths off the street.

Eight different teams were invited to participate in the one day competition where a winner emerged.

Ogundele All Stars got the better of Jalisco All Stars through penalty shootout, after playing a barren draw in regular time.

The first half ended in goalless draw as both teams were able to take advantage of their chances.

Jalisco All Stars offered more threat in front of goal in the first half of the encounter than Ogundele All Stars.

Ogundele All Stars goalkeeper made a good save in the 61st minute to deny Jalisco All Stars.

Ogundele All Stars had their first chance of goal in the 65th minute but it was dealt with comfortably by the goalkeeper of Jalisco All Stars.

After playing a barren draw in full time, the match was set straight to penalty shootout.

Ogundele All Stars won the penalty shootout with 2 goals to nil.
