The federal House of Representatives member in Ikorodu, Rep Jimi Benson has put smiles on the faces of Ikorodu residents as he distributed bags of food for free to the masses.
It was gathered that over one thousand people benefitted from the iCare food bags given out by Jimi Benson who does it on monthly basis to ease the economic hardship faced by the masses in the country.
The politician appreciated his constituents for finding him worthy to be elected for another term in the green chambers and promised not to let them down.
He said: “1,000 vulnerable residents of Ikorodu Federal Constituency benefitted from our monthly iCare Food bags distribution.
“I used the opportunity to appreciate my constituents for their steadfastness and the APC’s performance at the last presidential election while charging them to do more for our performing Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu and Ikorodu candidates for the State House of Assembly elections.
“I appreciate the Lagos State Commissioner for Transportation, Dr. Frederick Oladeinde, Prince Kunle Oduborisha, IkoroduLocal Government Chairman, Hon. Wasiu Adeshina, Igbogbo-baiyeku LCDA Chairman, Hon. Sesan Daini, Imota LCDA Chairman, Hon. Wasiu Agoro, Ijede LCDA Chairman, Hon. Motunrayo Gbadebo-Alogba, among other party faithful for the attendance.”
