The Chairman of Alimosho Local Government, Mr. Jelili Sulaimon, officially commenced project commissioning on July 17, 2024, by opening the Alhaji Musbaudeen Alani Olaleye Ultra modern market at Pako bus-stop, Akowonjo.

 

Following this, the Azeez Ayorinde street in Alimosho was also opened to alleviate the challenges faced by residents. These projects are part of several others executed by the current administration for the benefit of the community.

 

 

The Alaye of Orisumbare land, Oba Akibu Adebowale, officially opened the market for use, he praised the Council Boss for his unwavering commitment to achieving commendable goals without looking back. Similarly, the Elegbeda of Egbeda land commended the Council Chairman for his administration’s swift accomplishments, expressing confidence that he will achieve even more before his term ends.

Since assuming office in 2021, Mr. Jelili Sulaimon has successfully built a 2-storey administrative building, furnished it, and completed over 5 vital roads such as Odebummi street at Miccom, Santos layout, Banire street, and Adebanjo street. Additionally, he has constructed drainages alongside these roads. While some roads have been finished, work on about 5 other roads is currently in progress.

 

 

 

 

Echonews reports that the Council Boss has within the period built an ultra modern health centre at Akowonjo and now at Olorungbebe area (Ologufe) to complement those he did in his first term in office.

 

This is in addition to the uncountable office and learning support equipments for schools and pupils in the primary schools in the local government and the Millions of naira that has gone into monetary and materials palliatives.
