Jakande Vows To Sustain Ajala Sport Programs

Mr Seyi Jakande, vice chairman of OdiOlowo Ojuwoye LCDA and APC chairmanship candidate of the council has vowed to sustain the sport programs of the outgoing council chairman, Mr Rasaq Ajala.
Jakande said he’s a strong advocate of continuity in governance while stating the fifth edition of the OdiOlowo Chairman’s Cup will start during this present administration led by Ajala and come to an end during his administration when elected as chairman in the July 12 Lagos State Local Government Elections.
He praised the visionary leadership and wisdom of Ajala in changing the name of the competition from HRA Cup to OdiOlowo Chairman’s Cup which have expanded the scope of the tournament to Lagos State and neighboring states.
“If you look at the Chairman’s Cup, you will notice it will start in this present administration and ends with a new administration. So that will tell you that there will be continuity in governance.
“As a strong advocate for continuity in governance, we will definitely sustain all the present sport programs of this administration.
“We have started very well, and I can assure and guarantee you that come September we will definitely end the competition well.
“You will notice that this competition started five years ago as HRA Cup, it’s in the wisdom of the present administration led by Honorable Rasaq Ajala the executive chairman that the competition should be expanded to the Chairman’s Cup.”
