Preparing for the 2020 budget, Isolo Local Council Development Area (LCDA) has summoned a stakeholders meeting to discuss the budget and seek people’s input to the draft.
The draft will form the basis of discussions at the budget retreat scheduled to hold at Lagos Palm Beach resort from December 15-21, 2019.
Tagged the “Local Economic Empowerment Development and Strategy (LEEDS)”, the meeting brought together critical stakeholders from the seven political wards to discuss various challenges and possible ways of solving them in the next fiscal year.
The stakeholders including councilors, traditional rulers, market men and women, artisans, youths and business owners were grouped into political wards under the supervision of their councilors.
Subsequently, each ward was asked to submit the list of its needs to the Budget and Planning Unit of the council for deliberation at the budget retreat.
