A member of the Governor’s Advisory Committee (GAC) in Isolo Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Pa Imran Taiwo has confirmed his support for the aspiration of his son, Taoreed Taiwo to contest for the chairmanship of Isolo LCDA under the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Taoreed Taiwo is one of the six aspirants jostling to fly the flag of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the July 29 local government elections.

As obtained in a video made available to ECHONEWS, the political leader was seen declaring his support for the candidacy of his son while blessing him.

He said: “…Adebayo Taiwo; as I’ve lifted your hand, may God uplift you because the hand will convincingly be noticeable than the head when it is raised up. When they’re voting you’ll have the highest number. They said his father is not supporting him, it is only a bad father that will not support his child for good endeavour. God will not make me a bad father. He (Taoreed) will not regret this endeavour. He will be successful. Whoever is against your success will not be in good condition to witness it. They won’t die but they will not be in good condition till after your victory.”

Taoreed Taiwo is a former sole administrator of Oshodi-Isolo Local Government Area.

He is currently in the race with the incumbent council vice chairman, Hon. Bayo Olasoju; a former council vice chairman, Balogun Mojeeb Adam; the former House of Representatives member, Hon. Akeem Muniru; Hon. Toheeb Aregbeshola and Hon. Eletu Atinshola, all preparing for the party’s primaries slated for Saturday, May 29.
