Council Chairmanship aspirant at Ejigbo LCDA, Sulaimon Gani, has urged residents in the area and Nigeria as a whole to imbibe peaceful co-existence for the development of the nation.
The All Progressive Congress, APC, flagbearer urged the citizens not to allow disunity among themselves, noting that the nation can progress only through love and harmony.
He charged Nigerians to continue making sacrifices and always strive for peace and unity. He added, “Democracy has come to stay, we should celebrate despite the challenges. I commend President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the way he has been combating the various challenges in the country.
“We must celebrate the 64th independent day and re-examine our commitment to the Nigeria project, work to deepen our democracy, seek something to unite than to divide us.”
