The Angel Salt Foundation has setup plans to organize a Pasta Football Passing Festival for over 1,000 kids and adults in Lagos State in celebration of Nigeria’s 65th independence day.
The event will bring together youth, families, football enthusiasts and friends to further the sportsmanship and unify the sport community
Speaking to ECHONEWS exclusively, Angel Salt, the convener of Pass and Pasta, CEO of F8ballers Africa and Angel Salt Foundation said the Pass and Pasta Football Festival focuses on varieties of football passing drills, competitions, and team-building activities, all designed to teach young players the values of cooperation, precision, and perseverance. Participants of all ages will sharpen their passing skills in various football passing stations, with coaches and mentors guiding them every step of the way.
“It’s about more than just football,” he said.
“It’s about giving young players and interested adults the opportunity to learn, exercise, connect, and celebrate who they are especially on a day as meaningful as Independence Day.”
There will be a festival’s signature culinary treat a hearty serving of pasta for all attendees, symbolizing nourishment, unity, and the joy of sharing a meal together. The delicious food, paired with the sound of passes and lively Afrobeat music, will add an extra layer of festivity to the day.
The past editions of Pass and Pasta witnessed young players and adult male and female fitness enthusiasts come together to sharpen their passing skills for professional skill development and fitness vibes, and also learn about the nutritional benefits of pasta for athletes.
