Inaugural Exco Members Emerge At NBA Branch, Surulere

The Nigerian Bar Association, NBA, has proclaimed that innagural exco members have emerged at the newly established branch in Surulere, Lagos.

The association disclosed that an election was conducted on Friday at the branch Secretariat.

Results at the election held that Anene Nwadukwe emerged as Chairman alongside Obinna Ezeanyim as Vice Chairman.

Enomma Mbanugo becomes the Secretary, as well as Rageeba Oloko for the position of Assistant Secretary.

Otters include Maureen Umejiego who is to hold the position of a treasurer, Salami Agbaje as Financial Secretary, Felicia Nosike as welfare Secretary, Okuwobi Mayowa as Publicity Secretary. Chijioke Duru is the Social Secretary while Kingsley Ebimor takes the post of a Provost.

The Chairman, Electoral Committee, Adeleke Agboola, (SAN) said that all exco members except the Chairman and Vice Chairman, who are under scrutiny for their positions, are affirmed office holders of the newly set up branch.

Agboola, said, “I express gratitude to the electorates for the peaceful conduct of the election. The winners are congratulated and encouraged to be gracious in victory. I wish them a successful tenure in their respective positions as they discharge their duties.

“I also appreciate the Surulere Lawyers’ Forum for the smooth transition to this Branch and for the successful election.
