The CEO of Imo Strikers Queens, Prince Chidi has revealed why the club acquired a new bus.
The club just purchased a new bus recently which the players expressed great happiness at the sight of the automobile.
Prince said the club’s biggest challenge was mobility and the acquisition of a bus for the team has brought untold relief to the players.
He noted that the new bus have also eased the players from the long walk to training daily.
“The biggest challenge the club use to have is mobility , but acquiring a new bus is a big relief to the girls at least no more tracking to training everyday,” he told ECHONEWS exclusively.
Imo Strikers Queens made their debut in the NWFL Championship last season and boast of young talented players in the team.
The club won the 2023 Sheroes Cup preseason tournament in Abuja and were winners of the maiden edition of the Soccer Queens Championship in Lokoja.
The team’s forward, Harmony Harchifula Achifula was voted the Most Valuable Player (MVP) of the first edition of the Ifeanyi Chiejine Memorial Cup in Asaba as she led her team to the final.
