Ilasamaja Youth Football Tournament kicks off in grand style

The 14th edition of the Ilasamaja Youth Football Tournament started on a good note as a total of 3 matches was played with 3 wins recorded.

The matches were played at Ajumoni Grammar School, Ilasamaja, Isolo.

According to the President of Ilasamaja Youth Football, Muritala Bankole popularly known as Muab, he said that, the aim of the football Tournament is to foster unity among the residents of the society.

A total of 6 teams are participating in the tournament, which are Muab Chemical FC, Checkmate FC, Ajomale FC, Olohunloba Brothers, Fisoy FC and Aloma FC.

Checkmate FC defeated Ajomale FC 1-0, Olohunloba Brothers smashed Fisoy FC 2-0 and Aloma FC skip past Muab Chemical FC 1-0.

A total of 4 goals were scored in the first round of matches as the next round of matches will be played on Sunday, 13th of November 2022.
