Ikosi-Isheri LCDA Holds New Year Prayer Session

Ikosi-Isheri Local Council Development Area (LCDA) held a special prayer session, seeking peace, prosperity, and divine guidance for the nation, state, and local government. The event, which took place yesterday, 6th of February, brought together community leaders, residents, and religious leaders to offer prayers and thanksgiving for the year 2025.
During the session, special prayers were offered for the nation, President Bola Tinubu, Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, Deputy Governor Dr. Obafemi Hamzat, and Princess Samiat Abolanle Bada, the Chairman of Ikosi-Isheri LCDA. The prayers also covered Lagos State and the Ikosi-Isheri LCDA, seeking God’s blessings, protection, and wisdom for the leaders and residents.
In her address, Princess Samiat Abolanle Bada, the Chairman of Ikosi-Isheri LCDA, emphasized the importance of prayer and unity in achieving peace and prosperity.
She encouraged the residents to work together, support one another, and strive for excellence in all aspects of life. Princess Bada also expressed her gratitude to the religious leaders and the community for their participation and support.
Princess Samiat also seized the opportunity to plead with the residents to support her second term in office, ensuring the continuation of her administration’s outstanding work. She emphasized that 2025 will be a year of building on the progress made so far, with a focus on sustaining the positive impact felt by the community.
She called on residents to join her in building a brighter future for Ikosi-Isheri LCDA and expressed her pride in the achievements of the community and her excitement for the future. She also urged them to join her in making Ikosi-Isheri LCDA a model of excellence and a beacon of hope for future generations.
Princess Bada stressed the importance of working together to create a brighter future where everyone has access to opportunities, resources, and support. She reaffirmed her commitment to serving the community and promised to continue working tirelessly to make Ikosi-Isheri a better place for all.
