The Chairman of Ikosi-Ejinrin Local Council Development Area, Akogun Anomo has lauded the member representing Epe Federal Constituency at the House of Representatives, Hon. Wale Raji for the many projects he facilitated into into the area and the many lives he has directly uplifted through his activities.
The chairman made this commendation at the official handing over of the newly established Odo-Temu Community Junior High School facilitated by Raji to the Lagos State government.
Anomo remarked that the good works of Raji has made him people’s favorite which is why the people of Epe Federal Constituency have reposed their confidence in him to represent them at the Federal House of representatives for the 3rd term.
He stated that the people are ready to support him again based in his many achievements.
The event which had in attendance the Commissioner for Education, Mrs. Folashade Adefisayo; the Tutor-General and Permanent Secretary, Education District III, Dr. (Mrs) Idowu Olufunke Oyetola; Hon. Akeem Shittu, Permanent Board Member LASUBEB; Epe Local Government Chairman, Princess Surah Olayemi Animashaun; former Welfare Officer APC Lagos State, Alh. Ramotallahi Bankole; Chairman, Reps Advisory Council, Otunba Nurudeen Yusuf; APC Lagos State Welfare Officer, Chief Kehinde Adeniyi;Former APC Chairman Epe LG, Chief Bode Alausa; Council Manager Ikosi-Ejinrin LCDA, Barr. Shobule Ladipo; Former Member of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Hon. Fariu Arebi; Education Secretary of Epe LGEA, Otunba Shittu Idowu; Regeant of Odo-Temu Community, Council officials, community members, pioneering students amongst others.
The council boss also appreciated the Commissioner for Education, Mrs. Folashade Adefisayo for her charismatic drive of the educational programmes of Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu and for the speedy opening of the school.
Anomo who has long been advocating for a public primary and secondary school in Odo-Temu community was elated that the realisation of this dream came to pass under his watch as the chairman of the LCDA.
He, therefore, urged the parents and students of the newly established school to see the citadel of learning as a treasure which must be guarded jealously by all, saying the cooperation of all stakeholders is needed to make the school a distinguished one from onset.
