Ikosi-Ejinrin Local Council Development Area (LCDA) Secretariat staff turned out in large numbers to welcome and honour their Chairman, Akogun Wale Raji Anomo following his triumph in the APC chairmanship primaries held over the weekend.

This follows his resounding victory in the recently concluded All Progressives Congress (APC) Chairmanship primary election. The mood was festive and electric as songs of praise, dancing, and prayers filled the air.

The workers, visibly elated, described Anomo’s win as a reflection of his humility, unwavering commitment to service, and people-oriented leadership which, they said, had positively impacted the council and fostered a sense of belonging among the staff and residents.

Chairman Anomo expressed profound gratitude for the outpouring of love and support. He emphasized that the show of solidarity goes beyond politics, calling it a symbol of the close-knit bond forged through collective service and a shared developmental vision.

“This is beyond politics; it’s a testimony to the family we’ve built together through service, mutual respect, and a shared vision for development,” he said.

Anomo reminds the gathering that the journey was far from over. He urged the team to remain focused and united as the general election, scheduled for July 12, 2025, draws near.

“Together, we have laid a solid foundation for sustainable development in Ikosi-Ejinrin. With your continued support, I believe we can take our LCDA to greater heights,” he said.
