Nigerian Professional Football League, NPFL, side, Ikorodu City, have secured the signing of four new players ahead of the 2024/25 football season.
The newly promoted team disclosed the new recruits as : Rivio Ayemwenre, Alade Solomon, Emmanuel Solomon and Folarin Temitope.
Ayemwenre, a Central Midfielder, made a Southwest club move following his departure from Crown FC of Ogbomoso in a Bosman Transfer deal.
Striker, Alade Solomon, moved to the Oga Boys from Emiloju FC. Solomon caught the attention of the Lagos base club after scoring 11 goals while representing 1472 FC in a loan deal during the 2023/24 Nigerian National League, NNL, last season.
The signing of Emmanuel Solomon from 1472 FC was also confirmed. Solomon, who plays as a Forward ammased 10 league goal contributions in the NNL last season following appearances for parent club, 1472 FC and Crown FC.
Folarin Temitope, an erstwhile player of Dosu FC, was also signed on a two-year-deal.
The midfielder formerly plied his trade in Mali having featured for Real Bamako. He is also a former player of CSM Lugoj in Romania.
