The candidate of the African Democratic Party (ADC) in the House of Representatives elections February polls in Oshodi-Isolo Constituency II, Barr. Leo Ikeagwu, has finally dumped his party for the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
Welcoming Ikeagwu into the APC party during its November general meeting in Isolo, the party chairman, Isolo LCDA chapter, Barr Ganiu Bello told other party members to embrace him.
Ikeagwu , who together with candidates of other parties was defeated at the poll by Engr. Ganiyu Johnson of APC, returned to the APC party after holding consultation with party leaders.

It would be recalled that Ikeagwu decamped from APC following his inability to win the party’s House of Representatives ticket at the last primary election.
The party chairman also reported on the last successful constituency meeting with Ejigbo even as he informed the gathering of complaints against elected councillors on their refusal to attend LGA general meetings but he was quick to announce that the councillors have since turned new leaves with their presence at the day’s meeting.
He noted that the victory of President Muhammadu Buhari at presidential election tribunal and the recent victories of the party candidates at both Kogi and Bayelsa states governorship elections have clearly shown APC as the party of the progressives in Nigeria.
