Kelechi Iheanacho has been left disgusted following Leicester City exit from the English FA Cup.
Blackburn Rovers stunned Leicester City 2-1 at the King Power stadium as Iheanacho scored the solitary strike for the Foxes.
Despite having a terrific run of form in the FA Cup, Iheanacho described how disappointed he is and can’t believe they lost at home to Rovers.
The Super Eagles forward said the team did their bit which wasn’t enough as they got punished for not taking their chances in the game.
“I am so disappointed, I don’t even have the words now especially because we were at home,” he told LCTV.
“We did our bit but it was not enough. If you don’t do what you have to do, you get punished. We just have to look forward to the Premier League and do better.”
Iheanacho has now recorded 18 goals in 24 FA Cup appearances making him one of the most prolific forward in the tournament.
Leicester City have accumulated 24 points from 24 matches and seat at the 14th position on the Premier League table.
