Igando Ikotun Opens Condolence Register For Ajao

The Igando-Ikotun Local Council Development Area has launched a register of condolences for the passing of Hon. Jimoh Ajao, the first Chairman of the Council.

After a brief illness, the late Ajao passed away early on October 21, 2023, at the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital (LASUTH).

In his condolence message, the Council Chairman Comr. Lasisi Ayinde Akinsanya said “Rest on my great mentor, leader, and brother, we will seriously miss your oratory speech, fatherly advice, and leadership roles in Igando-Ikotun LCDA in particular, Alimosho Federal Constituency and in the entire Lagos State Progressive family. Hon. Jimoh Ajao, you are a generous leader who always wants the best for his followers. I pray God almighty grant you eternal rest till we meet to part no more.”

The Vice Chairman, Hon. Mrs. Mojisola Badmus in her condolence message said, “One in a trillion. A giant and gallant father. You shall be greatly missed every day. A very knowledgeable and wise man. A teacher and peacemaker. Rest in perfect peace. ‘AJ…Ori o jori.’ ”

The Special Adviser to the Executive Chairman on Information, Hon. M.M Lawal prayed for eternal rest for the deceased.

Supervisor for Health, Hon. Nojeem Ismaila in his message said, “Rest in peace my second Daddy, I will greatly miss you.”

The late Ajao a member of the All Progressives Congress, APC Alimosho Federal Constituency Apex body, the G-18 and, the Apex leader, APC Igando-Ikotun LCDA.

He was a two-term Special Adviser on Housing under the administration of Mr. Babatunde Fashola as governor, died at age 66.
