Igando Ikotun Council Boss Promises Support For CDC/CDAs

The Chairman of Igando Ikotun Local Council Development Area (LCDA) Mr. Akinsanya Lasisi has promised unrelented support to CDA/CDCs coming next year.

The Chairman made this known during the “End of the year party” organised by the members of Igando-Ikotun, Community Development Committee (CDC) and joint Community Development Associations (CDAs) executives which took place at the council Secretariat.

The Council Chairman pledged massive streets grading, roads construction and more people’s oriented projects/programmes execution comes year 2024, noting that, next year projects will push the council area to a greater heights.

Reeling-out his achievements in the last two years, he said the planned infrastructural development for year 2024 is a sure path to catapulting Igando-Ikotun LCDA to higher pedestal among the comity LGAs/LCDs in Nigeria.

The Community Development Committee Chairman, Pastor Ojo Samuel, said that the C.D.C Executives have been repositioned in the community to make sure they are well coordinated for the development of the communities that made up the LCDA.

He further charged the newly inaugurated Joint CDAs coordinators for Self-Help projects and put in more effort on Information dissemination and also act as a channel between the C.D.C and the community.

In attendance were the Council Chairman Mr. Lasisi Ayinde Akinsanya, the Vice Chairman, Mrs. Mojisola Badmus, Deputy leader of the Legislative Arm, Mr. Ganiyu Wahab, Supervisor for Agric and Social Services, Mr. Olufemi Abolarinwa, Head of Department of Agric and Social Service, Mr. Babatunde Saba among others.
