Igando-Ikotun Council Boss Partners Nigeria Hunters To Enhance Local Security

In a significant development for local security, Comrade Akinsanya Lasisi Ayinde, the Chairman of Igando-Ikotun LCDA, has announced his intention to collaborate with the Nigerian Hunters and Forest Security Service (NHFSS) to bolster security measures in the council area.

 

This declaration was made during the official commissioning of the new NHFSS office at the secretariat, signifying a strong commitment to enhancing security and fostering a safer environment for the community.

 

Echonews reports that by partnering with the NHFSS, the Igando-Ikotun LCDA aims to capitalize on the expertise and resources of the organization, reinforcing local security efforts and safeguarding the well-being of residents.

Akinsanya acknowledged the role of hunters in assisting other security agents to secure the blackspot within Igando-Ikotun local government area.

 

He said he promised the hunters cooperation in order to rid Igando-Ikotun off bad elements taking refuge in the hidden places and equally ensure that the society are free for people to go in and come out unhurt especially businesses in the council area.

 

 

 

Akinsanya noted that security is a collective responsibility and that Nigerian Hunters and Forest Security Service (NHFSS) helps in intelligence and information to help curtail bad elements in the society.

 

He said the Nigerian Hunters and Forest Security Service (NHFSS) has been in existence since the creation of man and that most state governors in Nigeria have been supporting the activities and operations of hunters.
