The residents of Igando Ikotun have received what can be dubbed “Account Of Stewardship For two Years In Office” from Comrade Akinsanya Lasisi Ayinde, the chairman of the Local Council Development Area LCDA.
The Chairman revealed this during the APC Mandate Movement Meeting where he used the occasion to assure the people who had elected him of his good intentions.
He spoke about his approach to governance and development priorities, and gave an account of his stewardship to them.
He also added that, as a public servant, it is expected of him to provide a thorough accounting of the public funds under his supervision.
The Council Boss, who unveiled a few of the achievements of his administration, stated that he had the ability to carry out projects depending on the funds that were available at the time.
To further clarify, he stated that in a few days, he will launch another empowerment program to complement the most recent one in all seven wards.
He reassured the populace that his administration would make sure they quickly experienced the benefits of democracy and reaffirmed his commitment to completing more projects until his last day as the head of the Council.
His words: By God’s grace, I am gradually delivering the electioneering promises I made to them and I am going to do more because I promised them of rendering my service to them until the last day in office.
He then solicited the support of everyone and promised to continue to operate an open door policy, as useful suggestions would be welcomed to ensure the rapid development of the council.
The party members present and residents vow to give this administration full support and maximum cooperation to spread the dividends of democracy to the nooks and crannies of the council area.
