Ifoshi ward holds campaign rally for Obe

Party leaders and stakeholders of Ifoshi ward on Monday held a campaign rally for the re-election of Hon. Monsurudeen Bello (Obe) and other councillorship candidates.

Party loyalists in customized t-shirts, holding trumpets, coloured brooms, face caps, shekere and other campaign items, expressed their support for the candidates.

Speaking at the rally, the council chairman, Hon. Monsurudeen Bello (Obe) stated that his administration intends commissioning a committee that would be in charge of filling potholes within the community which, he said, is not part of his plan to construct Ifoshi ward road from Iyana Ejigbo to police station among other road projects that have been documented for constructed.

He explained that his administration intends building the first secondary school in Ejigbo on the three plots left from the six plots of land acquired at Aigbaka ward where he built their first ward primary school to be commissioned before the end of his tenure.

He noted that his administration will as well will refurbish the abandoned Primary Health Centre in Aigbaka ward just as he did the abandoned one at Bucknor at the commencement of his first administration.

The Director General of Obe’s campaign organizlsation, Hon. Kola Ojo, tasked party loyalists of Ifoshi ward to ensure their total votes reach 10,000 as their ward has prominent members of the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC).

He noted that Obe’s effortless and selfless services have been identified in the community immensely within the last 3-4 years to come which is why they keep advocating for his re-election.

Alhaja Segilola Kasumu, wife of Ejigbo LCDA party chairman, Alhaji Fatai Kasumu, presented supporting materials to Obe for his campaign organisation, Monsurudeen Oloyede Bello (Obe) campaign organization.

The Councillor representing Ifoshi ward, Hon. Grace Okere-Nwankwo and other ward stakeholders presented 1000 copies of customized 40 leaves notebook to Obe for his campaign programme after which she appreciated party loyalist for their turnout for the campaign while appealing to them to as well turnout for the Local Government election come July 24th.

It should be noted that Ilamoshe family and Fadu Mewon family had earlier today held their campaign rally for the APC flag bearers.
