Ifeanyi Chiejine Memorial Cup added great values to Imo Strikers Queens – Coach Nelly Orisakwe

Imo Strikers Queens came second in the Ifeanyi Chiejine Memorial Cup as they lost to eventual winners Prince Kazeem Eletu Queens.

Speaking to ECHONEWS, the coach of Imo Strikers Queens, Nelly Orisakwe said the tournament have added great values to Imo Strikers Queens and commended the organizers for staging the tournament.

“I’m not satisfied with my girls performance. They tried coming second place in the tournament but they didn’t play their game at all, but all the same, we give glory to God.

“Well, the organizers of this tournament did a very good job, I love their organization, coordination and even giving out medals, individual awards and trophies to teams and players shows the organizers really tried and we saw good talents that were seen in the tournament, the organizers did a very good job.

“We are in the NWFL Championship and the next thing is to start preparing for the championship early next year so that we can come back stronger.”
