By Edith Igbokwe
The member of the Federal House of Representatives representing Oshodi-Isolo constituency I, Dr. Bashiru Dawodu has said that, with his newly commissioned constituency office at Mafoluku, he has begun to fulfill his obligations to his constituents.
According to him, his promise of all- inclusive governance and all -round empowerment would now be fruitful as people could now come to the office to make their requests even when he is away in Abuja.
He said the 3-storey building office commissioned at 39, Rafiu Crescent, Mafoluku Oshodi last Wednesday was designed to attend to the needs of the people as they could submit their various requests which would be addressed by different departments.
Dawodu stated that his statutory obligations include a well structured and organised office with full scale departments such as clinic, computer section, welfare and others put in place to meet the desires of the people, saying his absence would not affect the operations.
He therefore expressed his joy over the fulfillment of a long time dream promised to his constituents to give back to the society, stating that they didn’t have to wait for years to receive the dividends of their efforts.
He appreciated the All Progressives Congress (APC) National Leader, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the Speaker of the Federal House of Representatives, Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila, the Governor of Lagos State, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu and his deputy, Dr. Kadri Hamzat for their support and good relationship.
