“I Can’t Stand the Violence”: Regina Daniels Cries Out in Viral Video

Popular Nollywood actress Regina Daniels has raised allegations of domestic violence in her marriage to Senator Ned Nwoko, representing Delta North in the National Assembly.
In a viral video circulating on social media, the actress appeared visibly distressed as she alleged that her husband sent thugs to assault her. The footage shows Daniels shouting and accusing Nwoko of violence while bystanders attempted to calm her down.
At one point, she was seen sitting on the ground as water was poured on her head in an apparent effort to pacify her.
“Ned sent thugs. In Ned Nwoko’s house, I’m nothing, but in my house, I’m a queen. What again? I can’t stand the violence; it’s too much,” Daniels was heard saying in the video.
The actress, who is a mother of two, married Nwoko several years ago when the lawmaker was 60. Their union has long drawn public attention due to the couple’s significant age gap estimated at about 40 years and the actress’s young age at the time of marriage.
As of the time of filing this report, Senator Nwoko has not publicly responded to the allegations.
