House of Reps Speaker, Abass, Inaugurates 80-Bed-Maternal Hospital in Imota

Speaker House of Representatives Tajudeen Abass has inaugurated 80-bed Maternal and Child Hospital in Imota.

This was facilitated by member House of Representatives, Ikorodu federal constituency, Rep Babajimi Benson, a significant milestone in healthcare development, aims to provide top-notch medical care for mothers and children in Imota LCDA and environs.

Abass shed light on the critical state of the Health Sector, which has received a substantial allocation in the recently signed 2024 Budget by President Bola Tinubu.

With a focus on addressing welfare challenges and the shortage of medical personnel in line with the policies of the World Health Organization (WHO), Dr. Tajudeen Abass assured Nigerians of basic and affordable healthcare services.

He expressed his unwavering commitment to working for the people through their elected House of Representatives members. He urged the audience to have confidence in the legislative body’s efforts to ameliorate healthcare challenges and ensure access to quality medical care.

Abass applauded the remarkable achievements of Rep. BabaJimi Benson and office of the SDGs, who has made significant strides in serving the good people of Ikorodu Federal Constituency. He assured Rep. BabaJimi Benson of his unwavering support in his endeavors.

Rep. Babajimi Benson extended his heartfelt appreciation to Speaker Abass for taking the time to visit and officially commission the newly built 80-bed maternal hospital in Imota.

He also expressed his gratitude to Him for his presence and acknowledged the significance of the occasion. He emphasized that this hospital will greatly benefit the people of Imota and environs, providing essential healthcare services and improving maternal and child health in the community.

Not stopping at expressing his gratitude, Rep. Benson took the opportunity to share the aspirations of the people of Ikorodu Federal Constituency with Speaker Abass. He highlighted the urgent need for the reconstruction of the Itokin road, a key infrastructure project that would greatly enhance transportation and connectivity in the area, He also added that Mr. Speaker himself said it needs a urgent attention.

The Senior Special Assistant to the President on Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), Princess Adejoke Orelope Adefulire, has reaffirmed her office’s dedication to enhancing the well-being and prosperity of the Nigerian people. The recently commissioned 80-bed maternal hospital in Imota serves as a testament to the numerous projects her office has successfully undertaken.

In a congratulatory message to the residents of Imota, Princess Adejoke Orelope Adefulire expressed her delight at the completion of the maternal hospital. She urged the community to fully utilize and benefit from the state-of-the-art facility, which will significantly improve maternal and child healthcare services in the area.

Dr. Eniayewun, the Permanent Secretary of the Primary Health Care Board, expressed his delight as the highly anticipated project Maternal in Imota, Lagos State, was officially commissioned.

Oba Ajibade Agoro Ranodu of Imota, Oba Adewale Shotobi Ayangburen of Ikorodu, and Prince Abiodun Ogunleye appreciate the office of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) for their continuous projects in Ikorodu Division.
