Heavy Security In Ikeja As NLC Protest Kicks off in Lagos
There was heavy security by law enforcement agents under Ikeja Bridge early Wednesday morning as the Nigeria Labour Congress began a protest over the hike in fuel price.
The anticipated protest started with the NLC officials and some members of the Trade Union Congress mobilising for a rally to the state government secretariat, Alausa Ikeja.
However, commercial activities are still going on as the police did not give room to the protesting labour unions to disrupt the activities of traders and workers.
