Heavy Downpour, Vehicles Submerged In Iyana Oworo
Flood from the early morning downpour of Wednesday Submerged hundreds of vehicles at Iyana Oworoshoki area of Lagos.
It also left many commuters Stranded while the cost of transportation went up.
The rains that started at about 4am is still drizzling as at the time of filing this report, making movement difficult for many Lagos residents.
The entire stretch of Oworoshoki from Bariga, Berger Bus Stop was flloded while hundreds of vehicles were stuck in it.
The situation has caused heavy traffic along the axis as Lagos State Government has advised car owners to find alternative routes pending the disappearance of the flood.
Echonews gathered that the flood also rampaged the ultramodern Oshodi Bus Stop, making the under bridge impassable for people.
At present, traffic had built up between Third Mainland Bridge and Alapere, Ketu.
Echonews observed that passengers from commercial buses alight to swim out of the flooded area.
