In a proactive effort to maintain peace and security in the Ifako-Ijaye Local Government, Lagos, a stakeholders’ meeting was convened under the leadership of Chairman, Prince Usman Akanbi Hamzat.

The meeting brought together various influential figures in the community, including traditional rulers, market leaders, and representatives from key groups such as the Hausa, Igbo, and youth leaders.

The objective of the meeting was to address the potential impact of planned protests and ensure that peace and stability remained the top priority for all stakeholders in the community.

The stakeholders present at the meeting, representing various sectors of the community, unanimously rejected any form of violence that could threaten the serene atmosphere in Ifako Ijaye and its environs.

The Council Boss appreciated President Tinubu’s commitment to serving the nation, and called on aggrieved youth to prioritize constructive dialogue over destructive protests in addressing their grievances.

The meeting was a testament to the community’s dedication to ensuring peace and safety for all its members and fostering a harmonious environment for everyone.

The stakeholders gathered at the meeting affirmed their unwavering determination to preserve the harmony, stability, and safety of the community. They emphasized the vital role of clear and open communication, as well as collaboration among all groups, in achieving this objective.
