As a form of progress on the projects the Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwoolu asked ward councillors across the state to submit late last year; delegates from the state government have visited Isolo LCDA to evaluate the cost of individual projects proposed by councillors in the council area.
The two-man delegate led by one Engineer Olabode visited all the seven wards in the council area to determine the worth of the projects submitted by councillors in the council area.
It would be recalled that Governor Sanwo-Olu had, last year, asked all 377 councillors in the state to submit projects of not more than 25 million to be funded by the state government in each ward across the state.

The governor promised that the projects would be carried out in phases in each ward as a way to evenly spread development to the grassroots.
Speaking to ECHONEWS about the projects, the councillor representing Ilasamaja Ward, Hon. Adeyemi Akeem, said the delegates have certified the construction of Ilasamaja Town Hall in his ward, one of the three projects he proposed for his ward.
Hon. Kanayo Osondu who represents Okota Ward confirmed that his proposed 510 metres Flood Discharge Channel located in Chief Monday IMO Crescent Junction by Trinity Power Pentecostal Mission, Greenfield Estate Ago Palace Way Okota has also been certified.
Also certified is the project, the construction of Primary Health Care Centre in Akinbaiye Ward submitted by the councillor, Hon. Idris Agbabiaka from Akinbaiye Ward.
All the projects were certified because they are within the rage of the N25million promised by the state government.
It was gathered that work would soon commence of the projects to be done by the state government itself but to be supervised by the councilors as the money would not be handed to the councilors.
Agbabiaka said: “The execution of the projects would soon kick-off because this evaluation substantiates the readiness of the state government to carry out the projects.”
