Court across the country will not hear any case except urgent ones until March 21, 2023.

This is to allow judges to also perform their civic rights in the Saturday governorship and house of assembly elections.

This was contained in a circular to the judges with the title, “Break for the 2023 governorship and house of assembly election” signed by the Chief judge of the Federal High Court Headquarters, Abuja, Hon. Justice John T. Tsoho.

The circular directs all the judges to embark on a short break on March 17 and resume on March 21.

It also directs the judges in Abuja, Lagos and Port Harcourt administrative divisions to ensure that a judge is designated to cater for the north, southwest, Southsouth and southeast in case of urgent matter.
