Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu, on Thursday, November 21, 2024, presented the Y2025 Budget Estimates to the Lagos State House of Assembly at the Assembly complex in Alausa, Ikeja.
The budget presentation, a significant annual event in the state’s governance calendar, was attended by key stakeholders, including the Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Mudashiru Obasa.
Governor Sanwo-Olu outlined the administration’s fiscal plans for the upcoming year, focusing on strategies aimed at sustaining Lagos’ growth and addressing critical areas of development.
During his address, the governor emphasized the government’s commitment to delivering impactful projects and strengthening the state’s infrastructure, education, healthcare, and economic sectors.
He highlighted how the proposed budget aligns with the THEMES+ agenda, ensuring inclusive governance and sustainable development across the state.
In his remarks, Speaker Mudashiru Obasa commended the governor’s efforts and pledged the legislature’s cooperation in scrutinizing and approving the budget to meet the needs of Lagosians effectively.
