Ghetto Tigers Crowned Champions Of OdiOlowo Chairman’s Cup Fifth Edition

Ghetto Tigers brushed aside Diadem Stallion 3-0 to win the fifth edition of the OdiOlowo Chairman’s Cup (OCC) at the Jide Sanwo-Olu Arena, Ilupeju.
Ghetto Tigers were ruthless in front of goal as they dismantled Diadem Stallion who defeated them in the group stage.
Chairman of OdiOlowo Ojuwoye LCDA, Mr Seyi Jakande said the OCC was initiated by the immediate past administration which will be sustained during his administration in keeping the kids busy during the summer school holidays.
Jakande added that the competition have seen significant improvement over the years with the grand finale held at the council constructed befitting stadium.
The council boss is delighted with the success stories of the OCC which will further enhance the sporting lifestyle of the residents of the community.
Fortune FA defeated HB Utility FA 4-2 in penalty shootout to win the U10 category, while HB Utility took their pound of flesh to emerge champions in the U15 category be defeating Fortune FA 3-2 through penalty shootout.
Starlight FA edged Future Stars 99 1-0 to become the winners in the U17 category, while Ghetto Tigers Ladies won the Women’s category by defeating Unification Ladies 6-5 via penalty shootout.
