Yakub Shamsu scored a clinical poacher’s goal in the first half as Ghetto Light FC defeated Sharp Strikers via a solitary strike to lift the Under 15 Prince Gas Cup in their debut season in the competition.

Ghetto Light FC defeated the eventual 3rd placed team, Dynamous FA, in the semifinal through a penalty shootout, while Sharp Strikers also defeated Living Legends via penalty shootout to advance to the final.

After some interchange of attack by both finalists, centre forward Abolomope Hammed linked up with poacher Yakub Shamsu, who finished off the Sharp Strikers defense with a clinical goal.

The first half ended in 1 – 0 as Ghetto Light FC snatched an early lead to the break.

Sharp Strikers came into the second half like a team possessed but Ghetto Light impressive goalkeeper, Rahmon Kehinde, kept making saves upon saves to deny the Sharp Strikers.

The centre referee blew the whistle for the end of the match and Ghetto Light FC were crowned champion of the 7th edition of the U15 Prince Gas Cup.
