Ghastly Lagos Accident Caught in Pictures: Three Dead, Several Injured
A horrific motor accident occurred early this morning at Iyana Merian Bus Stop along the Lagos–Abeokuta Expressway, involving a Dangote Cement truck, a mini bus, and four tricycles.
According to eyewitnesses, the truck, reportedly coming from Sango Ota, lost its brakes and ploughed into the mini bus and tricycles that were waiting to pick up passengers at the bus stop.
The accident claimed the lives of three people, while several others sustained injuries of varying severity. At the time of reporting, one of the victims’ bodies was still lying on the road, and another person remained trapped inside the mini bus.
The scene has left commuters shocked, and emergency services are on site attending to the injured and clearing the wreckage.
