He further emphasized the crucial role played by the church as a unifying force, urging members to embrace the spiritual guidance and divine love offered without discrimination or exception.

He also exhorted the nation to embrace harmony, stressing the importance of coexistence and cooperation across differences.
The speaker’s stirring appeal emphasized the transformative potential of unity and love for the community, and for the nation as a whole, imploring all to strive towards a more harmonious and equitable society.
Echonews reports that the church’s beginnings can be traced back to 1928, when a group of dedicated members of the Training Union of the Ijero Baptist Church established a preaching station without a designated place of worship.
Initially, church members conducted Sunday services in a rotation among their homes.
However, as the number of members grew, a stable venue was required, ultimately leading the church to settle at the home of Late Pa. J. A. Cole on Ayilara Street. As the years passed, the congregation continued to expand, culminating in the establishment of the thriving church as we know it today.
Deacon Akinrotimi Akinrin, the Church secretary, painted a vivid portrait of the church’s community as a “lovely and social welfare ministry,” highlighting the welcoming and inclusive nature of its congregation.
According to Deacon Akinrotimi, the church has created a structure that caters to all members, regardless of age, allowing for a sense of belonging and engagement among its diverse membership. This social welfare focus not only promotes spiritual growth but also fosters community bonds, making the church a vital cornerstone of the local community.
