Motorists and other users of premium motor spirit (PMS) better known as petrol in Oshodi-Isolo can get the best deal from only four filling stations, ECHONEWS can authoritatively reveal.

The stations currently selling PMS at 125 naira per litre as at 11am on Sunday, March 22, this year are Fatgbems, opposite Igala Estate on Isolo-Ikotun road, NNPC station on Idimu road, Total Filling Station, Isolo and Chestnut Dolapo filling station, also in Isolo.

A survey of 30 filling stations carried out by ECHONEWS reporters on Sunday, four days after the Federal Government cut the price of petrol from N145 to N125 shows that most filling stations are still selling at N145 per litre.

Their excuse is that they bought their current stock at the old rate and need to exhaust the stock before they could comply.

Industrial voice of petroleum marketers, the Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria said it had asked members to revert to the new price as soon as they picked their new stocks.

Although the four stations topped the list, they were followed by three new filling stations who now sell at N143.

These are Mobil Oil, besides Grocery Bazaar on Isolo-Ikotun Road, Dapsey Petroleum, Idimu Road, and PM Petroleum.

Those still selling at the old price of N145 include MRS, near Jakande Gate, Destiny, Idimu road, MRS, Isolo, IBWAS, Isolo and Real Oil, Isolo.
