Flamingos Coach Bankole Hails Danny Nazzal’s Immense Contributions To Women’s Football Development

Head coach of the Nigeria U17 women’s football national team, Bankole Olowookere, has showered praises on the founder and president of Dannaz Ladies FC, Mr. Danny Nazzal, for his unwavering commitment, contributions and generous investments in the growth of women’s football in Nigeria.
In a heartfelt gesture of appreciation, Coach Olowookere presented Mr. Nazzal with a signed official match ball honouring the Dannaz Ladies boss for his passion and visionary leadership in elevating the standard of women’s football game in Nigeria.
Olowookere described Nazzal as an outstanding administrator whose impact on the development of women’s footballers remains unmatched.
“I sincerely commend the President of Dannaz Ladies, Mr. Danny Nazzal, for his remarkable and selfless contributions to women’s football in Nigeria,” Olowookere said.
“I particularly admire his generosity towards the welfare of players and his proactive approach to ensuring they receive the best medical care and injury management. He is a true role model in the industry, and I pray that we all continue to grow and succeed together.”
Danny expressed profound gratitude to Coach Bankole for the recognition, reiterating his lifelong dedication to empowering the girl-child through football.
“I am deeply honoured by this gesture from Coach Bankole and the Flamingos. It strengthens my resolve to keep giving my very best so that every young female footballer in Nigeria can have a bright and prosperous career,” Danny said.
Under Nazzal’s progressive leadership, Dannaz Ladies have become one of the most respected names in Nigerian women’s football, earning promotion to the top-flight Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL Premiership) and continuing to make giant strides.
The club recently added another feather to its cap by winning the 2024 Lagos State FA Cup their first-ever title after edging Unification Ladies 1-0 in a thrilling final.
