The FIFPRO Men’s World 11 shortlist for 2024 has been released. It is a list of the best football players chosen by other footballers. Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo are on the list again, even though they didn’t win the Ballon d’Or this year. They have been on this list for 18 years in a row, showing how great they are at football.

Other players on the shortlist include Rodri from Manchester City, Jude Bellingham from Real Madrid, Lamine Yamal, a young player from Barcelona, and Virgil van Dijk from Liverpool. These players have done very well this year and helped their teams a lot.

However, not everyone made the list. Mohamed Salah and Bukayo Saka, two big players from the Premier League, were not included, which surprised many people.

This award is special because it is chosen by footballers all over the world. They vote for the players they think played the best during the year. The FIFPRO Men’s World 11 picks the best players in every position, making it an important recognition in football.

This year is the 20th time the award will be given. Over 28,000 players from 70 countries voted for the winners. The final list will be announced on December 9, 2024. Fans are excited to see who will be named the best in the world.
