The Nigeria U17 Women’s team finally got their rhythm in the FIFA U17 Women’s World Cup as they crush New Zealand 4-0 in Fatorda stadium, Goa, India.
Out of the 11 starters in the Flamingos lineup, ten are products of the Women Accredited Football Academies (WAFA). This shows the amount of work that the Fefap/Wafa association is putting in to make sure they produce the best women football players for Nigeria.
The following ex Wafa players that were in the lineup for the Flamingos game against New Zealand are, Taiwo Afolabi, Opeyemi Ajakaye, Amina Bello, Comfort Folorunsho, Tumininu Adeshina,
Emmanuel Blessing, Alvine Dahz, Bisola Mosaku, Oyinlola and Faith Omolana.
Wafa coaches like coach Olajide Royal (Royaltoms International), coach Rotimi Diego (Nakamura FA), Prince Ganiyu Adetunji (FC Phoenix Queens), Coach of Aseyori Queens, coach Jaiyeola Damilare of Prince Kazeem Eletu Queens and others celebrated their products, who are now players for different NWFL Premiership club sides.
