Famuyiwa Assures Agbado/Oke Odo Residents of Continuous Development

The Chairman of Agbado/Oke-Odo LCDA, Hon. David Famuyiwa last week presented a budget proposal of #3,374,449,871.38 to the 5th Legislative Council for the 2024 fiscal year.

The planned 2024 budget, dubbed the “BUDGET OF CONTINUITY,” will allow the Chairman administration to build on its accomplishments over the years, he revealed during a packed session in the legislative chamber of the Council Secretariat.

The Council Chairman went on to stress the importance of his administration’s focus on developing all facets of human life, citing in particular the importance of economic improvement, youth development, education and health, infrastructure development, and agriculture as well as their role in the creation of sustainable value.

In order to meet the aims and programs of his administration in this year 2024, he begged the legislators to move quickly on the budget estimates within the allotted period.

Present at the event were all the Councillors representing the Seven Wards in the LCDA, Vice Chairman, Mrs. Ajoke Moromoke Aminat Obe, Cabinet Members led by the Secretary to the Local Government, Chief Akinwumi James Odeyemi, Management Team led by the Head of Administration, Mr. Olugbenga Shogbanmu, SSAs, NULGE Excos led Comrade Femi Olowolagba, CDC members led by the Chairman, Mr. Ernest Kasunmu, Religious Leaders – Bishop
T. O. S Owoeye and Chief Imam Ajani Raji and other stakeholders.
