Rt Hon James Abiodun Faleke, the Justice Forum Lagos State Coordinator, along with Deputy Barrister Kolade Alabi David and other state executives, were officially inaugurated on Saturday, June 29, 2004 at Mende Town Hall in Maryland, Lagos.
During his acceptance speech, Faleke, a Member of the House of Representatives for Ikeja Federal Constituency, expressed his gratitude to the leaders of Justice Forum for entrusting him with the opportunity to serve. He pledged to uphold justice in Lagos State and Nigeria, highlighting that his focus is on the state’s success in future elections.
Faleke assured that all outstanding issues would be addressed and resolved at the local government level. He also promised, with the support of his deputy and the State Executives, that they would deliver and ensure the continued success of Justice Forum with God’s grace “Ododo loma leke” he concluded.
The Chairman of Bariga LCDA, Mr. Alabi Kolade David, emerged as the Deputy State Coordinator, while the Executive Chairman of Somolu Local Government, Hon. Abdul Hamed Salawu ‘Dullar’, was named the State Financial Secretary.
Former Deputy Governor of Lagos State and GAC member, Prince Abiodun Ogunleye, announced these appointments under the leadership of State Coordinator Rt. Hon. James Abiodun Faleke. In the Justice Forum, prominent APC leaders in Lagos State were sworn in.
Prince Tajudeen Olusi was appointed as Leader, Otunba Busura Alebiosu as Chairman, and Prince Rabiu Oluwa as Deputy Chairman. Other important figures in the group include Bashorun S. Alabi-Macfoy, Prince A. Ogunleye, Olorunfunmi Bashorun, Otunba D. Ajomale, Omooba M. Adetoro, Hon. Y. Dosunmu, Chief Bakare Olubamise, Hon. Yemi Alli, Senator Musiliu Obanikoro, Salvador Gboyega, Isiaq Tunde, RT. Hon. Joko Pelumi, and Hon. James Faleke as State Coordinator.
The Justice Forum also appointed leaders for each of Lagos State’s senatorial districts. The West Senatorial District is led by Alh. Sanyaolu Mufutau, Alh. Akinola Bashiru, and Mathias Kutton. For the East Senatorial District, Kehinde Salabiu Adeleke, Hon. Folami Muslim Olohuntele, and Otunba Dengel Anifowose are in leadership positions. The Central Senatorial District leaders are Mr. Morufu G. Ojora, Mr. Yomi Adebayo, and Hon. Kamal Bashua. Other state executives were also appointed for various positions within the organization.
