Faithia Williams Balogun Announces Death of Mother After Birthday Celebration

Nollywood actress Faithia Williams Balogun has announced the death of her mother, a few hours after celebrating her 55th birthday.
The actress revealed on Monday morning that her mother passed away on Sunday, the eve of her birthday party, but the news was kept from her until after the celebration.
In a statement to her fans, Faithia requested prayers for herself and her siblings during this difficult time.
The birthday party, held in Lagos on Sunday, saw the attendance of several celebrities, including Funke Akindele, singer Pasuma, Kazim Adeoti, Wumi Ajiboye, and MC Oluomo, among others.
