The stakeholders’ meeting on the plan of the Lagos State Building Investment Company to build shops in each of 39 zones on Jakande Estate, Oke-Afa Ejigbo will hold on Thursday June 11, 2020.

The meeting is to bring the managers of the Estate together with all the zonal leaders and all other stakeholders to deliberate on the proposed building project of shops in each zone.

The President of the Estate’s Landlords and Residents Association, Alhaji Isiaq Salami, explained to ECHONEWS that they have been making effort over the years towards the development of the largest state owned low-cost housing, holding series of meetings with the local government chairman and the LBIC.

According to him, the LBIC plan will be a beautiful one if executed as it will bring about development of the Estate and all the zones will enjoy it.

He stressed that the Estate association is waiting on the LBIC to have the meeting with all the 39 zonal leaders to conclude on the plan, adding that involving the estate stakeholders is necessary to build people’s confidence in the whole process.

On Saturday June 6, 2020, the members of the estate association had earlier met to deliberate on some issues concerning the project before meeting with the LBIC to reach consensus on the project on Thursday.
