Chairmen of the groups in the All Progressives Congress- the Mandate Movement (TMM), Hon. Kola Ojo, Itesiwaju, Hon. Wasiu Akinsola and Justice Forum (JF), Bashorun Oguntomole – in Ejigbo LCDA have allied to make sure the party gains victory in the forthcoming local government elections.
Speaking with our correspondent, the three caucus leaders attested to their complete submission to form a formidable alliance as representatives of all party members after engaging in a heart to heart conversation with their members on political matters.
Ojo disclosed that his TMM had repeatedly pledged to synergies with other groups in the party order to ensure the successful emergence of Hon. Monsurudeen Bello and the qualified party councillorship candidates in Ejigbo.
He said the initial aim of reaching out to his members is to reinforce the idea of the house to house campaign strategy in members to ensure they take the campaign to every part of the community.
Atinsola, on his part, disclosed that his caucus has confirmed the number of people with PVCs and identified those without voter’s card to aid them in getting one today (Monday) for them to also become eligible members to vote during the election.
He noted that ascertaining the total number of eligible voters would give the party insight into rough statistics of the total number of votes expected after the election.
Oguntomole of Justice Forum said the members have been earlier assembled to show appreciation for their commitment towards the party so far.
He explained that his members have been urged to ensure one voice with other sections by showing their solid support for respective candidates of APC.
