EJIGBO LCDA CONDUCTS WORKERS’ FORUM

The Staff of Ejigbo LCDA Council came together recently at a Worker’s Forum organised in the Secretariat, with the aim of addressing issues affecting them and suggesting ways of promoting programs, services and facilities rendered to the residents of Ejigbo community.
The Sole Administrator of Ejigbo LCDA, Honourable Ibrahim Adigun, who was present at the event, used the opportunity, to introduce the new Head of Administration to meet the entire staff of the LCDA. He said one of the reason, for the forum, was for the administration and staff, to have close interaction and forge the way forward for the progress of Ejigbo as a whole.
He said the forum would allow workforce to deliberate and plan on ways to improve on the services rendered by the council to the public.
His words: “ it’s an avenue to deliberate, on the feedback challenges faced by the council officials as they go about their daily respective duties. The idea is to discuss on ways to actually work as a team, to meet up with the expectations of the residents of Ejigbo. We know it is part of our duties to serve the people of this community because they deserve it” he said.
Focusing on the welfare of the workers, the sole Administrator said, the needs of the staff are very important assuring them of improvement in addressing these needs. He said, even with the past achievements made by the Council, there is need to improve on the standard on ground. He however urged everyone not to rest on their oars, to enable the administration fully realise the goals and aspirations set in making Ejigbo a better place for all.
He pledged support to the workers, as long as they continue to be productive and assiduous in the manner with which they carry out their duties and serve the interest of the Ejigbo community.
The Head of Administration, Mrs Iyabo Ogunyemi, told the workers to be effective in their various designations and be more dedicated in their respective duties. She said, the staff of the council, is expected to maintain and strengthen Public trust with their professional competence advising against wasteful and unaccountable expenditures.
