Ejigbo LCDA announces training programmes at new skills acquisition centre

Ejigbo Local Council Development Area (LCDA), has announced training in vocational skills at its newly- established skills acquisition centre.

After the completion of their courses, the students would be issued certificates which could be used to secure loans and other aids from financial institutions.

The training is slated to commence at the center located at the local council multi-purpose building, Otasunmi Street, Ejigbo tomorrow, March 2, this year..


To participate in the training for any of the courses, a student is to obtain a form for N2,500.

Meanwhile, the Secretary to the Local Government (SLG), Mr. Omatseye Fregene has donated seven forms to give some youths in the council area opportunity to be part of the scheme.

The APC women leader, Alhaja Tolani Onabanwo, also gave out seven forms to the women in the LCDA.

In another development, the former APC chairman, Ejigbo, Hon. Peter Adegoke, urged the ward leaders to be up and doing, saying many of them were not available to give their reports on the party’s activities.

While commending Ilamoshe ward leader for giving good report, Adegoke urged the party leaders to always carry the ex-officio along in all the happenings in the party.

Meanwhile, the free UTME tutorial is ongoing for all students who benefited from Hon. Ganiyu Johnson’s free UTME form at Febmex Tutorial Centre, Ilepo bus stop, Ejigbo between the hours of 8am and 3pm.
