No few than 12 marriages were dissolved by Ejigbo customary court in 2019 with two cases of environmental law violation.
Although there were many cases filled at the court during the year, only few were decided by the court due to adjournment of many others.
According to the court registrar, Mr. Albert, the court sat on Tuesdays and Thursday for case hearing and court decisions.
He noted that cases were brought to the court but it could only decide on very few due to some irregularities in the court sittings.
In total, 14 cases were decided with divorce issues toping the list in the court over the year
